5 Trader Joe's products that I LOVE... that aren't groceries!

Updated: Apr 22, 2020

If you know me, you know that Trader Joe's is my FAVORITE STORE!I Honestly. It brings me absolute joy to roam the aisles. Robby and I go out of our way to make a trip there every week. It saves us SO much money in the long run, and we come home with some amazing products! Beyond their incredible produce and groceries, TJs nails it in many other departments. I have recently taken a dive into their skin and hair care section and have been pleasantly surprised! The quality is great and you can't beat the price! I wanted to share with you what I've found and what I'm loving.

The Tea Tre Tingle shampoo and conditioner. They live up to their name that's for sure! I love to use these every couple of washes to really do some work on my scalp. Tea tree is a great detox for the often forgotten scalp. Mixed with the other botanical ingredients, these are super moisturizing and the smell is extremely fresh and natural. And yes, there is definitely a bit of a "tingle." I wouldn't use them every wash, but on occasion it's nice to get a little scalp help on the natural side!

Honey Mango Cream Shave. I have been using foaming shaving cream for YEARS, but one day, when I was in need, I took a look at the Trader Joe's shelves and low and behold I saw this beauty! This cream shave is UBER moisturizing and paraben free. It's stacked with nourishing natural ingredients like aloe & vitamin E and , once again, it smells HEAVENLY! I feel like I'm coming back from the beach every time I shave! It is not at all foamy, but it is really smooth and really works with the glide of a razor. My legs feel smooth immediately upon stepping out of the shower, even before I apply lotion.

Coconut Body Butter. Absolutely perfect to lock in that moisture after your honey mango shave! This is a product from TJ's that I have been usnig for years. Made with coconut oil and shea butter it's super creamy and hydrating for the skin. Smells delicious, once again, and lasts for quite a while. This is an easy yes for me!

Face mask trio. A face mask is one of my favorite self care moments. It feels so luxurious and honestly makes me feel like a real adult. This trio is a lovely. You get a Pineapple Papaya enzyme mask, Clay Detox mask, and a Rose Gel mask. The pineapple is my personal fav. It smells like a tropical vacation and gives a bit of gentle exfoliation. The clay mask is your typical clay mask, and leaves my skin feeling very clean. The rose gel mask is much more gentle and moisturizing. A great great find for the price.

Rose Water Facial Toner. Now this is probably my favorite. I use it almost every day. It's a lovely blend of rose water, witch hazel, and a few other botanical ingredients. It is great used as a toner or just a light refresh. I often use it in the morning right when I wake up, or before I put on my makeup to add a layer of moisture and freshness. Once again, it smells lovely, and is a nice alternative to the expensive rosewater oils and toners at makeup stores.

I encourage you to be bold, and take on the non-grocery aisle at Trader Joe's. You never know what gems you may find!
